Travel back in time to a golden age of travel with Seaton Tramway!

At Seaton Tramway, start your journey at Seaton and ride inland to Colyton, one of Devon's hidden jewels, or start at Colyton and arrive at Seaton, the gateway to the Jurassic Coast.

The three-mile route runs through East Devon's glorious Axe Valley, between the coastal resort of Seaton, the small village of Colyford and the ancient town of Colyton. The journey takes half an hour from end to end. You must alight from the tram on arrival but may return on any tram thereafter. Open toppers or enclosed saloons operate according to weather conditions.

Opened in June 2018 our new Station at Seaton offers a small gift shop and café with lots of fun facts to discover about the trams before you board. Our Colyton station which opened in 1868, allows you to step back in time whilst enjoying our Tram Stop Café which offers hot and cold food to be enjoyed out on the platform or inside in our Garden Room.

Seaton Tramway offers a range of events & experiences throughout the year. Everything from Drivers Eye Experiences and Driving Lessons, to tours of our Riverside Depot & Birdwatching trams, to family events like the Dinosaur Tram Adventure, The Fairy Special, The Pirate Tram, our Halloween Tram of Terror and our award winning The Polar ExpressTM Tram Ride. Look out for evening events too. including music and entertainment.

Seaton Tramway is an access for all attraction, working with heritage Ability to train staff, deliver BSL videos and ensure the accessibility of our entire network. We have 3 accessible low floor trams that allow wheelchairs. 
We are a dog friendly attraction. Dogs are allowed on all trams except on the top deck of our double deckers.
