Leicester Food Festival is proudly supported by Visit Leicester’s ‘Taste the Place’ campaign – an exciting initiative that celebrates Leicester’s diverse food culture and champions food and drink businesses from across the region.
This year, the festival is also delighted to support ‘Open Hands Food Bank’, a vital local charity helping to feed families across Leicester.
Mike Denby, Director for Inward Investment and Place Marketing, said: "Visit Leicester is delighted to see Leicester Food Festival returning for a second year at Abbey Park. Our Taste the Place campaign is the perfect platform to promote the quality and variety of food and drink produced across Leicester and Leicestershire. We use the campaign to raise awareness of the different types of food and drink available and where to find the best products. Leicester Food Festival is a great opportunity for visitors to discover a wide variety of food and drink for themselves, and there is even more family fun to be had this year with the new activities, which are all included in the ticket price."
"We are incredibly excited to bring the Leicester Food Festival back to Abbey Park," says Kev Lee, Festival Director. "This year, we've expanded our offerings to create an even more immersive and enjoyable experience for our attendees, all while supporting the amazing work of Open Hands Food Bank."
Join us this August at Abbey Park and make it a weekend to remember.
