We are proud to announce that the winning names of two Jersey calves are Milkshake and Competition Winner Names Jersey Calves Mooana!
Over the past week Drusillas Park, East Sussex, has been running a competition to name their two new beautiful Jersey calves. The results are now in and Drusillas are proud to announce that the winning names are Milkshake and Mooana.
The competition received over 1,200 submissions, with lots of people eager to be in with a chance of naming the pretty girls. There were some fantastic entries, with names such as Moolan and Mabel, Willow and Hazel, and Daisy and Buttercup.
The Drusillas’ competition brief left lots of scope for creativity but the winning entries came from Riva Cassidy and Danielle Golding who each won a family of 4 ticket to Drusillas Park to visit the calves they have named.
Head Keeper, Sophie Leadbitter commented: “We are thrilled with the new names picked for our Jersey calves! We can’t wait to tell the girls their names!”
Milkshake and Mooana can be found in the Farmyard at Drusillas Park. The two jersey calves can be found amongst the donkeys, chickens, goats and Shetland ponies.
