e&o launches new Pan-Asian restaurant on King’s Road, Chelsea
This Summer, Will Ricker of Ricker Restaurants and Fraser Carruthers of Raffles, have teamed up to bring you the latest member of the e&o collection. Set to open its doors on the Kings Road in Chelsea on Friday 14th June; e&o is the new Pan-Asian restaurant in town that everybody is talking about.
Formerly known as one of Chelsea’s most popular restaurants, Eight Over Eight has evolved to becomee&o Chelsea following the success of e&o Notting Hill, and more recently, e&o Athens.
With a renowned postcode, exceptional cuisine, and stunning design; e&o Chelsea is set to be the go-to restaurant in the city for Pan-Asian cuisine. Alongside the Black Cod and Chilli Salt Squid, signature dishes will include Lobster Noodles, King Crab Dumplings and fiery King Prawn Jungle Curry. For those seeking a dish that celebrates only the finest of beef, the new Wagyu Fillet Truffle Teriyaki is a dish that will certainly place e&o Chelsea firmly on London’s culinary hot list.
Executive Head Chef, Aaj Fernando, has spent the past year travelling extensively throughout Asia and brings his inspirations to the Kings Road to create a Pan-Asian dining experience like no-other. Fernando comments: “From Sri Lanka to Bali, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea; the menu undoubtedly has nuances of my travels – new sauces, new cooking methods, lots of fire and, of course, new twists on 
old classics. I wanted to bring back the old favourites but add a touch of excitement to the menu, too.”
It's not just exceptional cuisine that stands out at e&o but also the dining experience amidst a striking open plan dining space centred around a grand palm. Designed by Jesse Burgess of Rucca, the interior boasts a tropical ambiance; the multicoloured plant mural that enlivens the private dining room gives a nod to the Miami Design Movement and creates the perfect space for events. The bar, which has been doubled in size to seat 22 guests, offers a modern space featuring a marble top where diners and drinkers alike will while away the evenings sipping on e&o signature cocktails like the Chelsea Flower and the Rose Petal Mule.
With more e&o restaurants set to open across the globe, the highly anticipated arrival of e&o Chelsea is only the beginning and is certainly not to be missed.
