We cover all types of occasions from group sightseeing tours, ports and airports, trips to sports events, days and evenings out. Sightseeing trips for groups include the Jane Austen tour where you visit Steventon (where she was born) and see the church where her father was rector, followed by Chawton to visit the house where she drafted and finalised many of her novels. You can also visit the church where her mother and sister are buried. We then travel to Winchester to see the last house that Jane stayed in together with her final resting place in the famous cathedral. Please note that our drivers are not guides – they take you to the places only.
Other tours travel to the Cotswolds where you see some of the many highlights starting with Arlington Row cottages, one of the most photographed Cotswold scenes. After coffee we travel to picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water to explore, then on to beautiful Lower & Upper Slaughter, Snowshill (a lovely hill top village) and Broadway ('Jewel of the Cotswolds') before stopping in Stow-on-the-Wold. We then head home via picturesque Burford.
The Scenic South Downs National Park tour takes in some of the pretty villages and countryside at the Western end of the Downs, stopping in Petworth to explore.
Longer trips take in the Normandy Landing beaches and First World War sites around Ypres and the Somme. Alternatively, visit Bruges with its lovely main square and many canals. We suggest an overnight stay combining with a visit to Ghent – a medieval city at the confluence of two rivers – take an informative boat trip along the River Leie which takes you through the centre of the city, or visit the many squares and shops in the car free centre.
